Kings Arms
Is an addicts support group, which provides support for addicts as well as their friends and families. The group meets every Tuesday in a safe confidential environment, with trained substance misuse workers, available to help. If you are dealing with drug, alochol, eating disorders or gambling issues or you know someone is, then the Kings Arms is a place you can come to and be cared for and helped along the journey. Ark 2
Ark 2 Parent / Carer and Toddler group meets on a Wednesday Morning and includes a range of play and craft activities, learning theme songs and nursery rhymes. The children get the chance to play together and the the adults get the chance to meet new friends and enjoy a chat over coffee and cakes. |
Coffee and Craft
Meet on Thursdays to enjoy coffee and cake, while preparing shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse Christmas shoe box appeal. Thursdays provide an opporunity to meet new people enjoy a relaxed environment, while making a real difference for many children across the world, where for many children the shoe box they receive will be the only present they ever receive. 
Schools Work
A busy schedule in Schools includes one to one mentoring, classroom support, lunch clubs, R.S / PSHE lessons and assemblies in Birley Comprehensive, Birley Spa and Birley Primary Schools. Working in School is a great way to serve the community and show practically how God is interested in young people and their education. |
